Reading course
A reading course is a program where the reader will interact with an experienced teacher (usually a registered teacher who has a Master's degree in youth reading) on a regular basis (typically a minimum of thirteen hours each week for a full course) to share his or her progress on following a given reading list. The reading course can use a number of modalities, such as sight reading, phonics, reading comprehension, and many different tests and quizzes. Some classes have workbooks that provide practice exercises and models for education. These reading courses are really beneficial to children in early school. Reading courses typically begin with a short introduction to studying and teaching foundations. The first lesson usually finishes with a review of reading principles and goes into greater detail on reading comprehension.
